Description
Mixed up the names of my nieces yesterday. Uncle Ed is gettin' old. So this is Madine en yesterday was Julia. Anyway...
Taking pictures of children is probably the most rewarding thing you can do with a cam. But as you might understand I like to get away from the candid shots or the "Let's-take-our-kid-to-a-photographer-and-put-him/her-in-an-old-suitcase-or-whatever-photo". Don't get me wrong, there is nothing wrong with that if you like it, but not for me. I like this. Picture that show a little soul. Not caught ofguarded but just as they are without that forced smile.
Well, I guess it doesn't mather what I like, since that will speak from the pictures that I show you. I find it more interesting to read what you think.
Mayby another one tomorrow if I don't make it to the gym. Otherwise somewhere this weekend. Have a nice one!!!
Eddy.

I agree, forced smiles are awful !! I really like this portrait, just the right contrast and compo !! I can see what you mean by 'a little soul' this portrait forces you to really look and try to figure out what shes thinking off !! Awesome work !! :o)

Just curious what she might have been thinking at this very moment, Eddy! Her eyes have a critical look that fascinates me. This portrait is amazing... excellent compo and contrast!
