Description
A fast intermodal train lead by three General Electrics AC4400 diesel-electrics storms through the Marion Street station in Oak Park.

I am trying to be delicate with my comment because there are applications in programs that could give the same effect I am seeing of your image and be applied to anyone of mine. Now if this is a straight shot from the camera, then it has produced other than a straight shot. It appears on my screen as though you have applied a 'Watercolour or Oil Painting Effect.' Whatever happened, or whatever you did, the image is quite pleasing.

You're right, it's a water-color effect, combined with a slight blur. Both were applied using MGI Photosuite II. The original image was somewhat dark, and overly grainy. The water-color took care of the grainyness, and the blur helped give a sense of just how fast this thing was actually moving! The train was a good 100 down from where I was standing when I took that shot, and not three seconds later it was by me.
