Description

I just hope the owner himself painted this house. I put in red[almost red] some of the problems like paint on the bricks. Paint on the windows. Paint on the roof. Just some of the bad work that showed up in the photos. Not counting places that was miss [we call them holidays]plus they did not show up in the photos. The blue is frams around each photo; I was trying to match the bad paint job; you know keeping in toon with each other. Please if you come across painters like this; run them off. They make real painters look bad. I a pro at painting buildings i been doing it for 25 years and never saw anything like this. Like I say hope the owner did this trying to save money. I just do not know? thanks for looking and comments and votes

Photography and CAREERS! Love it! Thanks for a really fun image. I used to be a teacher, and 4 of us spent summers painting houses. They would love this. As if this crappy color weren't bad enough.... and look at the cleverly propped up A/C unit! Never throw away a rusty old tire rim. You never know when one might come in handy. And it's always a good idea to keep your trash barrels handy, like right by the front door. No sense putting them in the back. That would be a long ways to haul them to the street come trash day. Looks like my handiwork! What did they do, spray it without masking off the windows? Hard to believe but maybe the owner is planning to replace all the windows and doesn't care at this point. Or maybe he, or she, got sick of looking at whatever is outside. Anyway, once again you show your great observational skills and eye for details!

Sure looks like spray gun work to me. Pity the person who has to clean up the mistakes, it will take more then a little bit of time. Too bad too because it is an adorable little place. Love the shot!!****

Well, I guess it's not too bad if he was using a case or two of spray cans and had no masking tape :-) - Great picture of a lousy painted house! Well done!

Oh Jeez! Now you've done it ... i suppose I'd better make an honest appraisal of the condition of my house's paint. I don't think it looks as bad as this, though. Thanks for posting this my friend. Now where did I put those paint buckets? BTW excellent editorial and images!

Dear Jock, this is a really fun - only because I don't own the house - didn't paint the house - and don't have to fix the problems! It's hard to believe some of the things that people do. I thing the color alone is a big enough disaster! I was about to type "excellent work" but instead let me say "excellent photograph and commentary!" ;-) Love, Meredith

He has a long way to go with razor blades to make up for not masking and the only way to clear the roof will be if it was water based or a new roof is put on.

I see people doing this sort of thing alot. at least they missed the ac and the trash cans and the dog. I cover the windows up instead of all the scraping, using paint remover on the bricks. some people does not know what a shield is or do not care. where I live I can paint my type of house in one day and have time for incidentals. my neighbor(Mexican) hired a Mexican painter and they took 8 days(2 guys) and part of the time they was painting in the rain!! they charged him $1250.00 and I charge about half that and make money

That's what I am having around my house, red rings. I knew there was something missing in my life although I have got red rings around my eyes. I don't think this guy sprayed his house, he dipped it. Let's have more of this, the DIY jerks gallery :) Superb!!!
