The Shinyary are a reality-bending race in a home-made Role-Playing Game I made once upon a time. The game was too complicated to work out. Liked the name, though.
I started programming computer games when I was about 11 or 12 years old, and got involved with Paint Shop Pro, Bryce, and Poser to make graphics for my games. Eventually I just transitioned into more "pure" art.BIOThe intro pretty much says it all. I am completely self-taught, everything I know being from tutorials on the internet, but mostly just stuff I figured out myself. I have never taken a formal art class.
Interestingly, although I began art as a means for computer game programming, I have never finished any large computer game that took more than a few days to create. I have, however, finished several large art projects.

Dear Robert, Dudley AKA prog tells me he shops at www.creepycrawlything.com - I think they must be having a sale as this is the SIXTH image in a row that has had soemthing creepy-crawly about it! Are you guys tryingto make me hide under the bed for the rest of my life? ;-) At least you creepy crawly isn't eating anyone - or eating a car (saw that tonight, too!) It's been a little strange around the galleries tonight! In answer to the question, nope, I can't see any similarity to Requiem for a Dream. And fortunately, I also don't see to much of an insect - too many legs and things. Thank Goodness - I've already filled up my nightmare quota for the evening! I do like the simmering red a lot and with the strong self-similarity of it, it has a very fractal feel. Neat image! Next time, how about Kaliedoscope of a rose? ;-) Excellent work! Love Meredith PS - I LIVE for teasing!!!
