Description
I was looking at photos of swords (as you do) to go with this image and came across a site selling replicas of 'Excalibur' - so had a go at modelling it... and here's the result:)
cloak by Goblin Design; Helmet and Paldrons from Dark Ages (I think)
thanks for coming!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Arthur: The Lady of the Lake, her arm clad in the purest shimmering samite, held aloft Excalibur from the bosom of the water, signifying by devine providence that I, Arthur, was to carry Excalibur. That is why I'm your king.
Dennis: Listen. Strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is no basis for a system of government. Supreme executive power derives from a mandate from the masses, not from some farcical aquatic ceremony.
Arthur: Be quiet!
Dennis: You can't expect to wield supreme executive power just because some watery tart threw a sword at you!
Arthur: Shut up!
Dennis: If I went 'round sayin' I was an emperor just because some moistened bint had lobbed a scimitar at me, they'd put me away!.
That's what I call lighting and realism!
If this wasn't done in 2005 I would swear this was M4. This is truely amazing that you got such a realistic looking guy out of M3!! Your textures are absolutely superb both on the guy and on that amazing sword... talk about controlled lighting, and you weren't even working in poser 7. Amazing.
Thank you for creating this vision-work!... It is stunningly inspirational to my senses. Five years on and it shines from the screen as fresh and "cutting-edge" as anything crafted at the present moment. The modelling of Ex' is bloody brilliant! I will have to be taking a copy home with me to return to and enjoy over time. With warm regards, Terry
