:) good start to it Evie... Suggestion if you truely want to redo it, although this is a lovely version. Use the smudging tool in PSP 8. I have 9, which smudges much better. Can't remember where it is in the tool bar. But if you can find it, smudge settings can be at opacity 25 and hardness 45. Should work or you can adjust. That would blend the falls into her hair and look as if they are part of it ... also would work on blending around the outside of the images. Barring that if you also have Super Blade Pro, there is a setting in it for 'ghosting'. With the original photos, you set another layer, then ghost the image in Super Blade Pro. :)))

Dear Evie, have I ever mentioned I was blond? I didn't see the waterfall in her hair until you pointed it out - it just kind of blended in with the bangs! I live in a very strange world! ;-) As ppetersen suggested, you could use the smudging tool to blend them together little. Or I might sample her hair and paint transparent layers over the water until it was subdued enogh - or go the other was and sample the water and replace her hair with falling water! Or just paint in enogh water where it's a little more uniform so it seems like just streaks in her hair. You might also drop the contrast on her picture so her hair isn't quite as dark so it blends better wit hthe water. Just a few ideas. It's always fun to see friends together - this place is so much about friendship! Excellent work!!! Love, Meredith

I think you need to do the falls and faces as separate layers then you can set contrast different in the faces after you paste in cloned forms at 30-50% transparency. I went to California in 1965 too but I found no such good friends and left in 1978.

Hi Evie.. Not sure what you wanted as a final image.. But.. Load the background image 1st. Select 'add raster layer' (layers command). Load second image.. loads to 2nd layer. Use eraser tool on 2nd layer and the under layer (Background) will show through. You can also move the second layer around and rotate it with the layers button. I'm sure you can also adjust the opacity of layer 2 after that, to get the right amount of transparency where it's not completely erased. Use Merge (layer button) to make into one layer when ready.. Hope this helps. Like the image as is.. Cool image.. Cute ladies! Hugs.. Dave :^) V
