Description

Hi, Ken here. Dave asked why I haven't posted lately. I said it was because I'm too busy cleaning my house after the kids finally moved out. I have the whole place to myself now. He said I have a camera, so take a picture of something neat and post it under Photos. That gave me the idea of using my new flatbed scanner and I tried to make a collage of Mom, Dave and Me. I'm new with this paint program, so no fancy boarders. It was all I could do to figure how to paste the pictures together. So, here goes: My Family Album. The pics down the left side (the good looking kid) are of me and the right side is Dave. Yes, he still drools a lot. Mom said he always looked like a parked car with the doors open. He-he-he-he (He finally grew into his ears) I was always so proud of my Mother, Elnor (AKA: SilkyLady) On Parent day at school, when the other kids mothers came wearing an old frumpy house dress and curlers, She looked like a movie star. Of course, I might be biased? So, here are some pictures of us when we all was much younger. This weekend I'll try that Bryce again. Wish me luck! A wonderful day and a great weekend blessing to all of you! Ken Ps. My father never liked his picture taken, so I don't have any good ones of him. He passed away about 12 years ago.

Ken these pictures must have been taken around 1952 / 54 with an 8 mm Kodak square box camera. All there was at the time I believe. I like the tone of these era pictures. So you got the looks and Dave got the left overs. I dig that pic of him in the upper right corner he looks like he was a prankster even at this early age. Yes your mother looks like a very classy lady. Thanks for the peak into your family history! George ! ((::))

Yep, You got moms looks and I got her brains. But she was the lucky one, cause she has both. I love all these pictures except that last one of me. Jeeze I looked like a dork. No wonder I attracted Bullies by the droves. That was my 9th grade picture. I fit my ears by my senior year and gave you a run for the money with the girls.. Remember.. hehehe. I couldn't believe (at the time) that you bought and owned your own new car 6 months before you where old enough to drive. You were always a hard worker and great at handling money. Also, for your information, I don't drool anymore! Unless she's a real hottie! hehehe. Well, excellent posting dear Bro.. can't wait for mom to see it.. Later... Dave :^) V

You look alright. You were PROUD of your mother? Now that's an understatement! My mom looked nice, and lots of ladies did in those days, but I have to admit, Yours beats everyone. Thank goodness she didn't go to Hollywood and stayed and looked after you. This picture almost brought tears to my eyes, and I'm a guy! You are such a lucky sob! (So am I - my mom never made it to Hollywood either. She would have, though. And so would yours!)
