Description

My Wallace rendered in P6 using face_off's real skin shader, DNA lights and some lighting tweaking in PhotoImpact. No postwork on the character apart from a tiny bit of enhancement to the eye highlights. Hair - Namehei by Kozaburo. Thank you for looking and as always, all comments are very welcome.

Nice work Kym, maybe have the bumpmap a bit stronger, his skin seems a bit too smooth for a guy I just love that hair too.. isnt it the best :)

Very nice image Kym. I really wanted to see that hair done on something (somebody) but not in a funny cartoon-ish way...so now I know that a nice figure can be done and will procede with an image that's been floating around for a while. It's an excellent render.

I just love it... I mean love it... thank you for this other look at all the beautiful men who are ...yes... bald... but loveable as ever!

Excellent render..however the hair could use some puffing up in postwork with a few strokes..it looks way too tight to his head as if it's part of his skin.. other than that I see absolutely no flow and the render rocks! :)

I'm thinking perhaps his head is bent a little too sharply compared to the neck, also a hint of bump would really increase the realistic effect. At any rate, it's a very unique and interesting character portrait. Looks as if he's daydreaming of somethig pleasant. Very good work.

Dear Kym, You really are an impressive character creator. I saw Wallace in the distance in an earlier post, but this closeup really looks great!!! Really nice looking guy!!! Excellent work!! Love, Meredith

Great work. My only suggestion would be that the green light to the right is washing out some of the red color in his skin. Love his his eyes.

Thank you all so much for your comments and I agree with you about the bump map but I kinda liked him shiney so I was happy to forgo the bump map this time. face_off thank you and yes I agree with you...I had a bit of a fight with the red and the green "diluted" it perhaps a little too much. I was trying to get as close to natural skin color as I could but I think I mighta gone a tad too far LOL. I'm having a ball with P6 and the real skin shader and it can only get better :)
