Old graffiti on the walls of Wymondam Abbey in Norfolk UK.
The abbey was established in 1107 and the buildings completed by about 1130. I imagine that most of this graffiti was done in the 19th century as before that time the sort of people who would scratch on walls were probably illiterate.
