Description

Here's my possible entry for the Abandoned challenge. Is the boy abandoning his poor Robbie toy on purpose, or did he drop him? In either case, Robbie has been abandoned. Perhaps it's because mum is taking the boy to get a new toy "Deco". Who knows? I have to say there is no signifigance that I used Robbie because I feel he's been abandoned since Deco came out. :-) Draculaz of course made Robbie. The tin can, car and bottle I got from 3dcafe, so they are creditless I'm afraid. The curb, path, road and drain I made in Wings. The shop and lamp are Bryce. The boy and woman are 2d pictures. This is pretty much straight out of Bryce. No post at all, other than resize, frame and compression. 144rpp to make the DOF look somewhat decent. Thanks to the peeps on IRC #rendergods for some ideas and help. That's all, thanks for looking. Update - Won the May 2005 Challenge. Thanks for the votes.

Nice render,.........well done, great DOF. Remember the Ikea ad from a couple of years ago,......You feel sorry for the little robot,.......that's because you are crazy, it's broken and the new one will be much better !
