Description

There are several definitions of the word elemental; the one that applies here is: "reducing something to, a stark simplicity". I tried some overlays, surface builds, etc. Nothing made me happy. I just liked the way it all looked, with almost no enhancements. Something about the fact that this render seems to show the elements that Terragen itself works with: earth, water (cloud vapor) and air (sky). It seemed "elemental". Terragen, Lunarcell/ Photo Shop. Yes, there is one almost invisible overlay I left in. Very little adjustment. Single render. I do appreciate every input and comment you all give- you have helped me continue to enjoy this wonderful "hobby" of CG art!

Good choice to leave it stark. The scene seems to stretch on for miles and miles...yet somehow there is a closeness to it also because of the planet in the background that looms over it. Great work.

I really like this! Perhaps because I am somewhat 'elemental' myself :-) Be that as it may, this is a strikingly excellent composition and I like it very much! Well done! V

Very realistic, looks quite excellent! Well done indeed! Everyone else likes the composition; I just like the way that the shadows play over the terrains--looks very nice.

This has such a wonderful calming effect. I love the distant view...I am always looking as far away as I can, and this goes on forever. This brings me to an imaginary voyage. Trekking across land, and water, and through mist to find what is there. I love the way this makes me feel and imagine.
