Description

[NOTE: If you can't be bothered reading the description below, at least comment!! ] This has taken me around a week to complete. Obviously, not a whole week straight, but for the sketching, editing, inking and especially CGing, it has been a fairly lengthy process. A few bits of it I'm still not perfectly happy with, but I'll savour mentioning them or else you might notice them and agree with me :P I would have had it finished earlier, but my computer is a complete failure. Honestly, my hard-drive is the equivelent of doing a big poo and then plugging it into the wall. As a result of that, I've had many unexpected crashes which has set draw-backs in my work progress, with the most devasting problem occuring a few days back when my .PSD file of the portrait had become corrupt; I had to re-do most of the portrait again. :( Nevertheless, it's been finished and I'll give you my girlfriend's testomonials once she's seen it :D The picture wasn't supposed to be a realism portrait of her, I intended it to be a character interpretation which is the main reason I created it in an Anime style, and it's also the explanation for that CD in her hand Queen. Hehe. She's obsessed. Comments and constructive-critisizm welcome/appreciated. I also wouldn't mind donations for a new computer ;) Also, Thanks for waiting for it to load (assuming you have bothered, that is :-P ) Greg. P.S: The actual picture is twice that size; 1600 by 2048, but I halfed it so you wouldn't have to move your eyes much to see it. So, for example, the Queen CD was done in far more detail but at 50% size, it isn't as easy to see. However, I think it looks more appreciable at this size. I kept the other size so that I can send the picture off to BonusPrint and get it printed at 8" by 10.6" digital quality, so I can frame it and give it her. Man, she'd better love it.

Great picture for your girlfriend. The upper arm sees a little thick but maybe that's just the perspective.

Thanks for the comments so far! I appreciate 'em! Liltawen, the upper arm is a little thick, you're right. Just a small mistake I made, hopefully Becky won't notice hehe. Ppetersen, in what way did you 'enjoy' the picture? o_0 Lol.
