Description

This image was a puzzle in the making. I wanted to create something as close to real as possible on all fronts. Terragen does this with terrains, as many of you surely know, but it doesn't do objects. Bryce on the other hand does with objects that Terragen does with landscapes, which isn't what bryce does too well without oodles of work. So, I had to create a blue screen effect in bryce, which I found somewhat of a challenge, and transpose that on top of a terragen image. The way I did it was my making a filmstrip in Adobe Premiere using the two shots and the blue screen transparency and cutting out one frame in Photoshop, and edit that frame. The end result is what you see here, and comments are welcome. Enjoy.

Despite being a military aviation fan, I'll try not to bear this in mind, for those P-40's ARE very accurate, and concentrate on your composition. Your skills have paid off VERY nicely, for the realistic feel is just awesome!!. I'm very impressed by the overall idea of blending these aircraft to a superbly done landscape. The overall effect is neat and draws the viewer to the scene in a most natural way. Sincerely congratulate you for this work!!

Well done. Both your objects and landscape look clean and sharp. Heck, you might even throw in a shadow or two from the planes onto the terrain (judging from the sun angle, it might work). Excellent.
