Real nice action scene, and a super POV for this. Agree, the tracer fire was a nice touch, but the smoke cloud there is very realistic as well. Are the render times with ver 5 longer on this kind of scene?

Nice image! One thing - in an airplane ammo belt there was a tracer round only every so often (one in three, I think?). The other rounds were ordinary. You might reduce the # of tracers. Another thought - shell casings and smoke came out the reverse side of the guns - usually through slots under the wings. That would be an authentic touch to your picture.

My only suggestion is to add more junk - war is a messy business - shell crater and suck, but your work with the setup and the plane is just excellent.
