(Photo taken in one souvenir shop in India, Feb. 2005.) Thank you for viewing and for your kind comments on my last photo "Like to smoke?"! Powers of amethyst: feelings and happiness, love and freendship, calmness and balance...if you know to work with gemstone try it! Belive me it helps! He, he... This is for our very busy friend here in RR...I hope he will recognize it...! But for sure that time I been thinking about him and wish him everything what amethyst can give... Have a day full of balance and love, love...

This must be for me.Fantastic capture... And I have some in front of my monitor for good luck too. Amethyst is the purple variety of quartz and is a popular gemstone. The name "Amethyst" comes from the Greek and means "not drunken". Perhaps because it was thought to ward off the effects of alcohol. Also , my birthstone Hence the other name "Amethyss"
