Description

Another shot inside the Old Tools works - due to popular request, well TwoPynts asked for more anyway!
It is not a very big works, 2 waterwheels powering a couple of large shafts with a number of different cogs and gears driving various machines, mainly with pulley belts.
This little work bench is squeezed in between to drop hammers - a large (red) one to the right, and a smaller one to the left, you can imagine standing here, working at the bench with the hammers going making shovels, spades etc.. remembering to keep your elbows in!
This was shot hand-held, with just the available light from the window in "Old Tool works".
Tried this in B/w but think I prefer it in colour.

Yesterdays mention of a PSP cloning tip helps with high contrast. Take the shot and expose for the lighter areas. Open two copies, lighten one to show detail in the shadows and clone from it to the one correctly exposed for the lighter areas. You then have the best of both worlds. Excellent again!!!
