Description

My first post - This is my kitchen as it will look when I'm finished decorating. Can anyone give me some hints for making it look more realistic, lightin render setting. I'm fairly new to Max.

Well, the lighting does need to be changed.....lightracer.or/and effective spotlights are a must......this depends on what render time u want. And reflection materials are also needed.

i agree. some raytracing is needed. Also some light sources. maybe a hdri image for reflections.

i say you done a great job here. even not realistic in certain point but at least you model the whole kitchen out. the kitchen top need to be hightlight(is that granite or corian surface),the window background scene, the hood is too reflective, some arrangement like try not to put microwave next to the hob and the lighting which some of our friend mention early. overall i see you did a very fine detail model.

Thanks for the comments. I'm playing around with the render settings trying to get something I'm happy with. I've added in some spots, I'll repost when finished. Thanks.
