From Pinnacles Monument. This little guy is only half the thickness of a pencil. I love the blue iridescence on the scales of his head.

I cannot believe nobody has commented on this shot. I HATE snakes! This is exemplary (sp?) in the fine details and colors you have captured. I can even count his scales.. Excellent capture my friend.
