BIO
I've been married 17 happy years. I've actually been married 23 yrs, but about 17 have really been happy. =^}
I have twin girls just out of high school.
During the day, I am a Certified Engineer specializing in new construction for my local State Highway Dept. In the evenings I do some web design for the locals : http://www.gratrgraphics.com
I started messing with Terragen, but saw fractals posted and fell in love. Picked up Apophysis and became an immediate addict. The images that I render are a little eclectic, but hey...I like them. Hope y'all do also.
I have also written a tutorial for Apophysis:
Creating and Saving Custom Gradient Packs in Apophysis
You can find it under the Fractal section of the tutorial link at the top of the page or you can view it at it's alternate site:

There is much to see in this fractal! (You have bump-mapped it by the looks of it, and it has a great effect!) There appear to be little white birds of paradise in attendance around the central figure here. Very brave combination of colours - and it works!

VERY cool! I especially like the saturated look to this - gives great depth and a hardness to the vibe. Excellent flaming!
