My wife bought me a camera when I promised to give up smoking! I havn't had a cigarette for 3 months now but I still miss them.BIOBirth = 1962
Status = married (I don't deserve her)
Job = teacher (mostly economics)
Residence = Switzerland (not one of the beautiful bits)
Hobbies = Books (she says we have no more space)
TV (she says I watch too much)
DVD (she says they are a mess)
Food (she says I must loose weight)
Photography (she says my pictures are no good) - sighs
SHE IS THE BEST THING THAT EVER HAPPENED TO ME!

Cool shot of this duck sitting on the grate. It almost looks as if he's on a barbeque grill, about to become someone's dinner :)

I must say, these images of ducks would make a nice series for a book to help individuals with the identificatoin process of these ducks when they go on thier walks.

Toujours le meme regard tes canards. C'est tes potes maintenant ?

Well I think it's a male Tufted Duck in it's summer plumage "athya fuligula", due to the lack of tuft at the back of it's head & the brown, rather than black & white plumage normally seen with the male in winter. If it isn't, then it is a female in its usual plumage!! It isn't a Scaup, I know that much! I hope that clears things up???
