Description
A catastrophe really.....19 hrs to render on a Celeron 300A with 320 meg of ram.......and my computer crashes as I am saving the final image.....cpu overheating I suspect.....but I saved this when it was only half way anti-aliased....oh well......you get that with a large volumetric atmosphere

It was my first attemp to make a laser beam and then I had to do something with it. The explosion is actually a Bryce fir tree with flame texture applied and then touched up in PhotoShop 6
