Description

I've seen a lot of great water results generated from Terragen by other people, thought I'd give it a try myself. I know the terrains are c***, but I was working more on the water than the landscape itself. This is the first Terragen image I have ever attempted. It's a very easy program to use in my opinion, but I can see that there is a lot of power sitting here too. Any suggestions are very much appreciated! =P

I would suggest adding more colors, bluing the water and adding black or dark green to the area just above the waterline.

Good for your first Terragen! Excellent sky. Welcome. Water is a bit too green maybe and surfaces are too uniform. My advice is to stay away from tricks at first and just try to imitate nature. Do a few tutorials on surfaces to get the hang of how to go about distributing your layers realistically. Again nice job.

Dear Robert, the water turned out really well - love how it washes against the rocks and the foam at the edges. I really like the point of view. I feel like I'm flying down between the cliffs. The sky looks reavy good - and the terrain is very good also! Excellent work!! Love, Meredtih
