She certainly looks happy to be where she's at. It would probably be better just to have only one light that casts a shadow (and make that depth-mapped instead of Ray-trace) and use the others for filling in.

The lighting was designed to simulate the ceiling lights in a dim oldstyle factory or wharehouse setting. In such places there are multiple suspended light bulbs with reflectors that create the spot light effect with harsh shadows. They are often hit by forklifts or other equipment that causes them to bend out of alignment resulting in overlapping islands of light that are isolated by areas of darkness of varying sizes. Most objects in a zone of light will cast multiple overlapping shadows. The extra rim lighting comes from story elements that are not included in this particular scene but are nearby. These are depth mapped shadows created by tightly controlled spotlights. Thank you for viewing and comments.
