My dad was in the Navy many years ago on a destroyer. Thanks for this shot. Shows how massive this ship is; great perspective!

very nice pic..A flight2A Burke class DDG81 on up Destroyer.. These Destroyers are actully smaller than the Spruence class ships that they are replacing. Unfortunatly it looks like follow on classes will look more like a Civil War Ironclad than these beauties..
