First of all- I would like to display a quote by RYNO-a FORMER Renerosity artist- that I find very very true. he hit it right on the head with this!

How true this is.... It's kind of sad when you look to see what kind of images are being looked at on this site. Not only is the above comment so true, but also it seems to be quite "cliquish." In other words- people will list favorite artists based on the comments that are made on their images- and vice versa.
Also, it seems that most people on here DO NOT have a clue how to critique an image. Why is it that people will say things like "cute cat" or "wow- such a pretty girl," or just comment on the SUBJECT rather than what the photograph is and/or what it conveys? Along with that, some people on here seem to resent even getting a true critique telling them how to improve the image. I often get "nastygrams" sent to me in my messages because I went against the grain of people just saying how pretty the subject is, or how great the POV is, or just what a cool pic it is. I like to tell what I see in it and how to maybe improve it if needed.
Personally, I much prefer people telling me about my image itself. I dont care if someone has the same kind of car that I took a photo of- or the person, place, or object in my image is nice looking. PLEASE tell me about the image.
I apologize for my cynicsm... but this is just one of the sites I post my work on and it by far- has the longest way to go when it comes to people knowing how to actually comment on artwork.

Nothing wrong with simplicity! There is a very small element in this picture that is eye catching if discovered. The hand railing. It adds that air of the unexpected and this makes this 'simple' image a treasure.

I'm with Egmont on this one. I thought it should be taken out at first glance, but now am glad you left it in. It makes the image more approachable. Nicely seen and captured!

Yes my eye zeroed into that corner as well - provides a bit of depth that would be lost I think - great shot.
