Description
This is a portrait of a dog who liked rivers and streams, and the outdoors. It caused me a lot of trouble and took a long time, because of the colours. These colours hurt my eyes. Using blue is always a problem--but all's well that ends well, eh?

The blue is working for me here. I love the symetery and framing in this image. The hole you've punched behind the dog leaves an area of interest, and there's a nice glow to the pooch. The swampy area undernieth is particularly inviting, and there's a feeling of motion to the whole image, highlighted by the little streamers of particulate matter.

Great strokes. I love the way they flow in the painting, so harmonious! The curved lines on the composition work fine to me.
