in the brookgreen gardens there are many statues, this one is smooth i am not sure if it is bronze but it is so lovely............

Aaaahhh yes ... Brookgreen Gardens ... I visited there once ... I wonder if I can get there again. while I was there, I purchased the 2 hardcover books about the place and the artist Anna Hyatt Huntington ... as I leafed through, I realized that I had seen one of her works about 50 years before my first visit to Brookgreen -- the statue of Sybil Ludington in Carmel, NY that memorializes Sybil's 40 mile ride http://www.putnamchorale.org/putcounty.htm
