The Shinyary are a reality-bending race in a home-made Role-Playing Game I made once upon a time. The game was too complicated to work out. Liked the name, though.
I started programming computer games when I was about 11 or 12 years old, and got involved with Paint Shop Pro, Bryce, and Poser to make graphics for my games. Eventually I just transitioned into more "pure" art.BIOThe intro pretty much says it all. I am completely self-taught, everything I know being from tutorials on the internet, but mostly just stuff I figured out myself. I have never taken a formal art class.
Interestingly, although I began art as a means for computer game programming, I have never finished any large computer game that took more than a few days to create. I have, however, finished several large art projects.

An interesting image, but alas, the politics belong in the Forums? It's where we all go to practice typing, and accomplish little!

I Agree...with your complaint and would say that nonetheless, Bryce still packs respect in my world. I love your vision and the mist here is wicked! well done.

After coupons and a $5 I managed to get 5.5 for $15... but yeah I agree with not wanting to shell out so much for what's been upgraded. Not dissing Daz though, companies have to make money somehow, and Bryce for 100 is a pretty good deal if you don't already have it. I like this image and the overall feel.

Aye, the Storm Dragon's probably right... "politics" as you so aptly put it are probably best left for the forums. Still I have an excuse, as I was up straight through the night working on this (I'm addicted! =P) until 5 a.m. when I posted this, saw the newsletter from DAZ and went to check prices... yeah. I'm not dissing DAZ either, they actually have a lot of really great deals, deals that really are great and not just designed to lure you in... but for the amount of new stuff you get in 5.5 it's just not worth it and I think they would make more money if they offered the upgrade cheaper. 100 bucks for Bryce is truly a great price if you don't already have it, actually I was quite happy when I decided to upgrade from 4 to 5. They should have upgraded more though if they want to charge that much, is my point.

Dear Robert, THANK YOU!! HAPPY ENDING ARE ALWAYS THE BEST!!! It's like when you read a review and the critics say, "Powerful Performance." Somebody's gonna die and everyone is gonna be bummed totally out and what the dickens am I shelling out money for a dose of depression! I'm so glad this isn't going to "Swan Lake" or "Lady of the Lake" or something. YEAH!!! Of course, Swan Lake is one of my most favorite ballet music pieces - and I love the ballet as long as I don't pay attention to the story. "Lake in the Moonlight" from Act II is as good as it gets!! I just had to click in on in the background! Hmmm - actually it fits really well with this image. Full of drama and passion and the dreamy feel is just perfect. Great effects with the fog - it's fantastic with the vegetation. The searching pose is wonderful too!! Excellent work!! And Thank you!! Love, Meredith

I really like this one. I love the way I did the lighting, and the fog really adds to the realism. Very nice. Light skills are just perfect. Very nice composition.
