BIOAt present I'm trying to break into commercial illustration. If you are interested in my work or have an idea that you think I might help you with please contact me and let's discuss your project or whatever you have in mind. Over the next few months you will hopefully see a gradual transformation of my work while I try to develop my "style". It's something I think I need to do as an artist since most of the people I'm influenced by have that sort of instantly recognizable quality to their work. Whether I ever can succeed at developing my own I guess only time will tell, but It's definitely one of my goals.

Great job! Just a question: what did you put in the upper right part of the imageO Is seems not sky, but something else "closing" it (I like it). Maybe some "cloud" made with fuzzy material?

Really nice work. Wonderful atmosphere and vegetation, and the character looks very natural and relaxed. Love her feet in the leaves. Thanks!

Hi, very nice. Great start.

Thanks to everyone for their kind remarks so far. To answer your question cinacchi, the material in the upper right is actually the leaves of the acacia tree. I liked the blueish color of them early on when I was composing the scene and decided to leave them in as is. I also forgot to mention that I deliberately wanted to do this image without any postwork. I did decide however to blur the vines in the upper right and the plants in the forground. Thanks bloodsong for the tips!

I have to give a credit correction. The shoes are made by Sharkey from his Solara character (in the poser freestuff). He has a lot of great models and other freebies on his website as well.

excellent work, droyd! this came out great. i love the depth and the colours on the figure are wonderful. is that big tree in the middle a vue tree? mine never come out that cool. one thing i'd suggest is try using one (or a few) very flat terrains for the ground, instead of a flat ground plane. it'll give some natural variations and not look so much like a floor.
