Description

Hi Everyone, this is my first post ever and my first image using Poser and Vue 4 together. Thanks to you all for your inspiration, generosity, and insights. The Poser credits: Tamina head morph by Moenchen, Spear and shoulderbag by A of D, Feathers ( on the spear ) by John Spirko, Headjewel by Styxx, Hoop earings and feather necklace by Helen, and Shoes from Dreamspinner. All the figure and leotard textures and transmaps by me. Real feather textures by Fyrene. Vue 4 credits : Vines and weeds (plants) by Drew Costigan, Bambu model and texture by Varian. The center tree and forest floor textures are by me. If I left anyone out or goofed up any of the credits, let me know and I will credit you here. Please tell me what you think! Thanks for checking out my work.

Great job! Just a question: what did you put in the upper right part of the imageO Is seems not sky, but something else "closing" it (I like it). Maybe some "cloud" made with fuzzy material?

Really nice work. Wonderful atmosphere and vegetation, and the character looks very natural and relaxed. Love her feet in the leaves. Thanks!

Thanks to everyone for their kind remarks so far. To answer your question cinacchi, the material in the upper right is actually the leaves of the acacia tree. I liked the blueish color of them early on when I was composing the scene and decided to leave them in as is. I also forgot to mention that I deliberately wanted to do this image without any postwork. I did decide however to blur the vines in the upper right and the plants in the forground. Thanks bloodsong for the tips!

I have to give a credit correction. The shoes are made by Sharkey from his Solara character (in the poser freestuff). He has a lot of great models and other freebies on his website as well.

excellent work, droyd! this came out great. i love the depth and the colours on the figure are wonderful. is that big tree in the middle a vue tree? mine never come out that cool. one thing i'd suggest is try using one (or a few) very flat terrains for the ground, instead of a flat ground plane. it'll give some natural variations and not look so much like a floor.
