There is a forgiving of unbelief in looking at a digital "image" of a planet that depends for it's integrity on earth oriented correlation filters. Having a rover tactile on the contours updates my first recoil when looking at noisey radar altimeter profiles. It gives not just topology truth but also continuity of all derivatives. I realize that if I say the Goodyear guys who made SUBROC must be patting them selves on the back you will say, HUH!
