Great work so far, looks like you got the basis of it if you are looking for a "manufactured" scale maille look. If you want to go for a look of scales taken from the skin of an animal, such as a dragon, the scales would have to not be uniform and aligned. I would be willing to pay for a female version of this.

I know I'm a bit late, but I didn't see this when it was first posted... this is really nice! I love the lighting. And you're more than welcome, though you've done incredibly well with a tiny bit of scale pattern. :)
