Morel feaver, ya, I got it!
It hapens every year bout this time.
They just don't grow'em like they used to.
These are a friend's. But, I did find two elephant ears.
Had to take a vacation,(use it or loose it) and thought, "Peak of mushroom season! Been hot for spring, but still enough rain to keep the ground moist. Perfect!"
Then, would'nt you know it. Could front came down. (Damn!) Been cool, cloudy, rainy, even snowed one day.
Just my luck!
Did get enough for a taste, and thats what matters.
To all the others with the feaver, good luck.
(as long as their not in 'my' woods)

Yummy! They grow around here, but it has been too cold and not enough rain. These are sure small ones.

cool stuff! me and my grandpa used to go hunting for those things. i dont eat them but its still fun. =)
