Description
Here's the (hopefully) improved version of this scene. Softer lighting, shinier doggie... Too shiny? I'm pretty happy with the rest of it... unless anyone can think of any improvements?
Thanks to Clay for the torch fire and the wood on the drawbridge is from Amazing Textures.com.
And thanks to everyone for their help and advice.

I have both versions up on my screen right now, and have to tell ya its a really hard choice for me to pick one over the other. In your 1st version I truely enjoyed the texture on the walls as well as the lighting. I dont know how many lights you used in corridor but if only 1 radil then I would maybe try many different smaller lights at different intensities, some with shadow on and some with shadows off as to add even more effect and realism to the torch... you know give it the look and feel of shadows dancing around as the flame flickers. ... LOL now that I look closer seems you already have it ... In any case each version has its own magic quality about it so its really a close call to me. Just know that your work is outstanding.

The lighting is well done and the dog is fine! Good sense of mood here.

Definitely an improvement. Lighting and dog are much more realistic. While there is a corresponding loss in textures for building it remains a much more realistic presentation than the first.

Very nicely done....I like the softer lights on this one....
