Description

Another composition using Brett Barret's StrongBlade and Daz Dragon. Slayer shield by Darkworld Designs. Characters manipulated in Poser Pro Pack, rendered in Vue 4, and some postwork with Photoshop 6.

Very nice atmosphere and texturing. Perhaps the pose on the guy could be reviewed.. Something slightly odd, but that's a small niggle. Nice image.

This is am outstanding image! I love the colors and lighting. Great poses as well...and the dragons fire kicks all sorts of ass. Your reflections came out well too. How did you do that? awesome!

Thanks for your kind comments everyone! The fire ball was created using a series of sphere objects with dimishing sizes and grouped together into one object. I applied a fire glow material to this. I then embedded a point light object with a low power and adjusted the flare intensity for effect. As for the water reflection, Vue did not reproduce the effect to my liking as it made the fireball look like a mesh of spheres rather than what it should be so I used the Flaming Pear Flood plugin for Photoshop instead.

The change from the smooth reflection of the water to the stroke textures of the characters above is very ruff. But this is still very nice work. So I am fixing to give it a vote for the hot 20.

its cool but kinda sad that you would use another guys work.... the image would be cool enough as a cave. its kinda upsetting to think that the main part of you image wasnt even made by you. Awesome concept though. i do respect it quite alot
