Description

A PSP9 postwork practice exercise. I originally thought the main challenge was to take a decent pic, then I saw what the postwork wizards on here did that made great pics even better. Sooo much to learn. Production Notes. 1. Sony f828 2. PSP9 ... postwork/frame and signiture. Thanks for visiting.

i like the pose, and her soft, assured demeanor/posture/presentation is quintessential in the capture - I like the tendrils of hair to give height to the photo. but I don't think its the eyes that do it...some flash(glare? something?) in her left eye is distracting... Great photo - thanks for sharing.

I don't think there is a challenge where photography or postwork is concerned, at least I have not noticed it. I don't think postwork should be an issue with photographers as not all want to learn the art of manipulating an image and I can see that there are many who don't. I think that it is a lot harder to produce a straight photograph than manipulate one afterwards to look good. Just a minor critisism. I think the young ladies pose would have been better if her hand was flat against the door frame as here she looks as though she is receiving a blow to the chin. Very pretty shot though!!!

The challenge was for me to create better framing not pic alteration, there are some who do it so well, and I consider it somewhat of an art form unto itself. Agree with the hand, have several, Ashely liked this one.

Wonderful capture. It seems as if she was a little bit shy? I love the whole composition and the model too, the expressive eyes and how she holds her hand.
