Bryce Blues by AgentSmith

Lettering created in Photoshop CS, rendering in Bryce 5.5, compositing & post in Photoshop CS.
The bump on the side of the glass lettering is intentional, as is the letters being slightly raised up off the ground.
(both gave a far more interesting look to the glass)
Soft Shadows enabled with the render, and with everything reflective and/or transparent and also bumpy...the render times were painful.
Bryce 5.0 = 11hrs. 38min. - Bryce 5.5 = 10hrs. 8min - (around 15% difference)
Thanks!

Thanks for sharing the difference in render times. THis helps me to know if I want to upgrade or not. The lettering is crisp! Mine never tuurn out that good.:(

Trust you to make a "test render" look cool! And in glass? Not metal?

From the looks of what i am seeing so far.. i will stay with 5.0. I hav yet to see anything that makes me want to plunk down 80$ for an upgrade. Cool pic though.

nice image....so theres not much difference in the render time as daz said ? dont get me wrong eye catching image with top class lighting but 10hrs. 8min...you can render with gr lighting quicker then that in vue...but hey i love vue and i'm also a bryce lover all the best!

Very nice work. I like the photoshop composition with that sensation of mix 2d-3d. Great new cover for the Bryce 5.5 blues.
