Shot from Sunday's Vox "Volumetric" session a week ago, demonstrating possibilities of Volumetric plug-in by Dmytry Lavrov. I spent all week with this plug ;-), more to come...

Nice. This is the kind of brilliant weirdness I want to see. I'll get around to checking that plugin out at some point.

Wonderful work, Armands! Now can somebody explaine it again....how can you get rid of the top most straight cutout of the isosurface.

Well, You should read the log one more time :) There was substract value for fractal output controled by altitude, so at certain altitude the isosurface layer disapears without sharp cutout.

I always liked your images done with MJW terrains in this style. In your Wormhole period ...hehe! So this is a delight to see done with dmytry's volumetrics-isosurfaces plug-in.

Spectacular!! The lighting is great on these volumetric images. No harsh shadows covering up detail. Some might say they want it, but I like it best like this!
