Very realistic! Is Wings 3D difficult to learn? (Been thinking about giving it a try)Looking to some more of your modeling work. Excellent stuff.

Nice helmet. How do you see out of it. Or is that only an option on the more expnsive version.

Looks great. LOL at Dann-O. :D Have you used a subtle bump map? Definitely gives it that beaten-from-a-sheet-of-metal look. Excellent job, looking forward to seeing the rest of the project.

I am very interested in this project and I have a passion for armour and weapons from various time periods. I like fantasy and historicly accurate pieces alike.Great model, I just hope that there will be more than just a white backdrop on futher additions. The image is great, but presentation is key.

Thanks for the comments folks! No plans to Poserfy this at the moment, you never know in the future though! Star4mation - Wings is very easy, stop by the forum! Dann-O - LOL The eye slit is just above the visor :o) Swishy - Yup subtle bump and a noisy reflection channel.

Great work Baz, I'm a fan of medieval stuff myself so will definitely be following this. You gonna do a whole suit? Will be curious to see how you handle to nightmare of over-lapping metal plates not sticking through each-other ;]

what did you render it in? did you texture it, or use a material? how'd you make it look bumpy?

Cinema 4d, procedural texture with a bump channel.
