Description

Having little breakfast and lonely, looking at the misty and foggy lake...Far from the city, far from the anxiousness...just being there with a peacefully silence! Re-union with the essence of life... This is my sister's place, where i love to retreat! I really have a hard time with black and white conversion to have a wide range of tones...this is not easy...it seems to me that digital captures are loosing tones wich I have to recover ...but..this is what I can actually do...I am learning...;-) Hope you enjoy have a good start of the week!

AWE!!! That is so beautiful!!! Wow!!! I can see why you like to retreat there, i sure wouldnt mind it either!!! As far as your B/W conversions go, i think it looks awesome. I think it looks like a mix of B/W and sephia that works just incredibly well. Hope you get to have a wonderful week #:O)...sigh...look at that mist...gorgeous!!!

A wonderful and truly peaceful plaace to visit and recharge ones batteries. I do agree that a little more adjustment in the channel mixer to achieve better sepeartiona dn tones from colour to B&W is needed as this photograph certainly warrents it. There is such beautiful detail in the distance among the trees I would love to be able and see a tid-bit more seperation. One might consider channel mixer in CMYK mode, much more difficult, but we do have the yellow channel that is perfect for contrast among the green as it is also a filter used in B&W film photography.
