Description

Pictures from my vacation to Jersey, this time a 2 hour drive to Long Island. The weather was warm that day but the water temp was still cold at 44 degrees..was nice to see the Atlantic Ocean as opposed to the Pacific which surrounds my Islands. While there I took a couple of shots of the gulls on the beach...We don't get to see this variety much in Hawaii so I shot these, hope you enjoy! Excellent images, but I must say I noticed that when I was on Maui, that there were no seagulls?? I thought it was odd, but actually enjoyed the silence, we have them here and they are noisy but fun to watch when they are getting food, they get the clam or mussel and take it up in the air and drop it on the rocks, then go down to see what they've got... ;)

OOOOOOOH!!!! THAT TOP ONE IS GORGEOUS!!!! I see seagulls all the time, but man...i had no idea they were that beautiful!!!! I only thought they made a lot of noise....always reminds me of those gulls in "Finding Nemo", LOL!!! Have a great week #:O)

I like the top image best, too - not only the crisp shot of the gull, but the wonderful blending of blues in the background! Beautiful :)

Ahhh... perfect shots of this wonderful birdies! Just a lil hint on the presentation... I would have put the one in flight on top so you can scroll from the sky down to the ground... but that's just me... never mind ;o) A brilliant work though!
