UF3, PS and the deep crunch filter. A special thanks to kareldg for his tips on using this filter. I really like the effect, but I could quite easily get carried away with it... I'm sure this is but the first of many.. though hopefully I will get better and be able to add other effects as well. Thanks for looking!!

The coolest thing about this effect is that it lends such perspective and depth. Awesome fractalscape and lovely coloring.

LOVE this...As someone who has lived on the Tundra (I'm in Alaska), you have captured the beauty of the colors seen in the winter...Magnificently!!! That's a pretty cool effect. Almost like you've made a model of a fractal and then cut it in half to show a cross section. Interesting view. :)
