Description

Taken this past weekend at sunset in Lake Placid, FL near Lake June. This Great egret was quite friendly and came within 10 feet of me, possibly looking for some handouts. But with their wipfast necks, these elegant birds are quite adept at hunting and fishing for themselves along the Florida lake shores and canals. Underexposing made the colours come out still better. Mabe I am very subjective now, but I find, that fotos with reflex cameras still remain the best.
