Description
Finally broke out of my cocoon to start posting. This picture was made in Vue 3.1 with one pass of the BladePro Aetherize Filter to help it achieve more of a "painterly" look. Sort of sprung from trying to read through Dante's Inferno, with some GREAT Gustave Dore illustrations. Uses neftis' casual hair, hardly visible here, dcort's Poser 4 cloak, Syyd Raven's Dr. Morpheen, also hardly visible, as well as plants and stuff from the absolutely fabulous Botannical CD set.
Comments, suggestions, critiques, etc., gladly accepted. Fire away.

I find the cloak to be too jarring with the rest, and the rest is magnificent. The pattern on the cloak makes me think of a barrel. I've never heard of blade pro, but what you've done is really interesting technique.

I think if the cloak were more of the red/orange shades of the foreground flowers, it would have a smoother flow. But either way, wow, this is really very well done!

I like this image a lot, but does the big silhouette trees in the background have a paper instead of leaves ? (or is it a moneytrees? have to know where they grow :) some smudging near the soldiers face is spoiling a little.

Hey folks, thanks VERY MUCH for these critical and instructive comments. They're all greatly appreciated, as I, a long time pen and ink man,are trying to find my 3D "chops"! And zebrazool, my wife (my resident critic) said exactly the same two things. Thanks again!

I cannot, nor will not agree or disagree with the two points in question. In real life I've seen clothes that did anything but make the wearer look good. Personally - I love the soft, quiet and peaceful mood this image gives me Larry, and think anyone who can create with such difficult 3D programs such as Vue d'Esprit gets high marks in my books! Great job - keep them coming.

I just came across this image and I like it a lot. The soft and dark feel of the wood make it mysterious, with a nice contrast with the character. It has a nice alice in wonderland feel to it.

i just love the scenery but to be honest am not sure what the "purple shape" standing up in the middle is! the atmosphere of the scene is really peacefull and "out of this world"! really like it! :)
