Aww Nita dont be so upset you have some great stuff just post what you think is best and enjoy the challenge.. Here the problem is shooting up to the light try under exposing by about a stop or two and you will be fine

I checked out your gallery and you have some great stuff! Yes, this is not one of your better captures, but don't sell yourself short. I loved your Falls pictures and Simple Ellegance was simply beautiful! I too had some of my art in a local gallery this winter and was shocked when I found out I had sold three out of four! But the most amazing thing to me was that my favorite of the four was the one that didn't sell, go figure! So, do what you love and let others see the beauty and you will be glad you did! Hugs big time!

What ever makes you happy is how to see it. I love when these little birds come to my feeder.But have yet to get a decent shot. Thats why on one I did watercolour texture,and it made a bluury photo not so bad. You do fine work...No selling yourself short.

What a pretty little birdie!!! Such a great shot!!! You say that you only have photos from your little hometown, but every photo in my gallery is just minutes away from my house. They look ordinary to me, but exotic to others. You shouldnt get discouraged by that Nita. I went browsing through your gallery and you have some amazing photos there such as: The Glow, Cumberland Falls and Becoming a woman just to mention a few. i know for a fact you have quite a few excellent shots!! you'll never know till you do it... go for those moody ones you have, a bit different... not the ones like everyone else's... i know they're there!! ;] (& postwork should be acceptable, it's done in the darkroom)

Nita as a birder & photographer this is stunning,beautifull little house finch, has the darkness of winter but the hope of spring in it also, your beautifull photo's are more then worthy to be entered in a contest, all your shots are , to get these little house finch to sit is a feat in it's self, but I love the shadows to BRAVO!!!!!(V)!!!!:0) @-}-- so enter, stop comparring yourself to others you have a beautifull style of your very own, & thats what they look for, so do it,
