Description

Ahhhh, spring in the southwest... time for the Mundy guys to get out and trash the desert. Not sure, but the critters may be planning a little revenge. Actually, this is just an exercise to learn V5I, and how to control terrains, material distribution, and ecosystems with bitmaps. Four plant species from Xfrog USA Southwest library, with some dead brush made myself. Added a couple Vue veggies to fill the gaps. Critters are all from Lyne's Creations. Free trash thanks to TrekkieGrrrl! Thanks for looking. Thanks for commenting. Thanks for suggestions!

ROTFL! This is so superbly done! I'd say you got the ecosystems down to a science! I live in the Southwest and can appreciate the environment, as well as the people throwing trash all over. Trekkiegirl really does make some great trash (now that sounds funny)! This image is just fantastic and well realized - I'll have to save my lunch money for V5I, I just use Vue 5 for now! Excellent work!!

Forgot that folks like to see stats, and since this is new stuff for me, I like stats too. AA subrays set between 16 and 25 with quality set to 70%. Used GI with quality boost set at none. Three ecosystems for a total of 187.2 mil polygons. Render time 2hr 6 min on a dual Athlon MP2800+

Hey, I thought I had commented on this one, but I guess I didn't. Oh well. It's a great piece with a wealth of detail. I suppose many of those critters eat bugs, but litterbugs? May be a bit extreme. I wouldn't mind if the litterbugs got a little bit of excercise though... like running to their car! ;-) Very well done.
