This is an eye opener. My first thoughts and impression was that of fishing and the entanglements of nets and dolphins. Thanks for reminding us of what left litter or rubbish can do to kill our environment in all ways. Aloha

Yeah, at first I thought it was some kind of indian head dress that bit the dust. Yes, people, keep it clean. Aloha Aina.

I remember as a child in science class, we would release balloons with our school's address. The people who found them were supposed to write back and tell us where they'd come down. I'm glad our kids are learning more about taking care of the environment in science class now :)

Awe, poor birdie. #:o( I agree with previous commentators, that is just sad, and unfortunatly you see that kind of thing wherever you go. Thanks for bringing some focus to that issue. Enjoy your day #:O)

:( it's a sad picture... but how could one think a baloon would kill anything? Of course we all have to keep our rubbish... but baloons tend to get free from the hands of children. Just yestarday I saw a huge "Nemo" baloon flying free in the sky with a small kid running after it... :)

yes poor thing was probably going to use some of this for nesting material and got caught up.. A good reminder that as most of us here are nature lovers and take care of the environment.. But I have seen people crashing around near nests etc and not thinking of the consequences

Thats an amazing find but also a very sad one.... People should stop littering this earth, but... its probably a waste of time telling them most are too stupid to even care... sigh :(( Superb work here David !!

Sad thing to see, got that impression indeed of the remnants of a bird. A great way to ask attention for the danger of litter!
