Poser, Adobe, Pen and Ink, Pencil, Markers, Paints and Air Brush... my art is my own but now, here, I feel I can share.BIOWhen I was a kid I used to draw on old grocery bags I loved to draw... but I was never REALY good at it, but it made me happy so I stuck with it. Now my artistic ablilities have grown... but alas, my skills are lacking. I accept my fate but continue with my passion. Some people might say I have talent, but I know its meger. I am forced to ask myself... what is the purpose of my art. Certainly not to make a living, maybe some small pleasure for others... no, it must be some kind of therapy for my brain, a rest from reality. Now I find that my imagination potential can be released through my computer... another avenue to explore. What fun!

I like the idea! I'm only just learning poser myself, so I can't help you there. I could get it to glow in post with photoshop or some such. Check the tut's section here at Renderosity. There's some good tutorials on post work lighting effects, etc. Good work! Keep going!

Cool lighting. Love the critter lurking in the shadows.

I do a lot of glowing in postwork. On a separate layer, use the air brush to make a very soft ball around the lantern, using the color of the light. I would then probably turn the layer to a screen and pull it back unti it was very subtle. Add a weak lens flare for the circles that would come off a light and this would do it. I like the scene very much, I almost missed the lurking moster there andwas surprised by it. :) Well done.

There's a glowball prop in the freebies section that worlks perfectly for this! OR you can make it yourself, just make a ball and parent 4-6,or even 8 spotlights to it(Make sure the spot's shadows are turned off 'cept the one, or two that you want to use to cast the shadows}Each one facing the opposite way from each other{4 works best for simple setup}and facing outward from the ball, make the spots trans, and make the ball with alot of ambiant lighting, parant the ball to the lamp, and voila'! You've got a glowing prop! I used the same technique with my earlier posts in my gallery! Also This piece is has a BRILLIANT composition to it, and it came out beautifully without any need for post-work!
