well done! pro looking... did this on one of my daughter, she was very tan, converted to b&w & brought her eyes back in color... odd looking, ended up desaturating to tone it down... but works here :]

DAMN fine photography!!!!!!!!! kemal is passing on his congratulations to you as well! he's sitting here admiring this with me! it's one helluva a capture, and i so much luv looking at the reflections in his eyes!!!! you entered this in the monthly challenge i hope? (haven't had time to check everything out in the forum with my CRAZY work schedule!) Yes, the eyes are indeed windows to the soul; however, i also believe the same is true with hands. when i see i portrait, i wanna see eyes and hands. Hands tells so much...so many stories. i love to look at veins, lines in the palm, fingers...everything about the hands tells me a lot about a person. i'm not a palm reader or something. nothing like that. but just like you can tell a lot about a person by looking into their eyes, you can do the same by looking at their hands! Incredible portrait, Kort!

Hope I am not on thin ice when I say that this is a split toning image with the eyes being colour and the flesh tones a warm duo-tone treatment?! Very well done as the technique works very well in this photograph by isolating and bringing the eyes into even more focus.
