Trying to make a texture out of photos (don't have a camera so getting pics off the web)...I think I need a decent eyebrow transmap :) This is my first try, c&c welcome :)

It's a little lopsided (see how the red of the right cheek is lower) but I think it's really coming out great. The colouring is fabulous. The kind of mottled tones are really lifelike, too. You're really doing a wonderful job! Can't wait to see it when it's finished. Is it really hard to do?

Honestly, I think you will find composing a realistic texture from photos is not the ideal process in general. It works to a degree, but in the end, its a matter of trial and error and typically involves photoshop/texture painting to achieve realism on the bump, textures, and trans maps.

Thanks for the comment guys :) I agree photos from the net aren't the best way to do it, its quite fiddley actually :) a lot of cutting/pasting, then trying to blur them all together to make them seamless :)
