Description

Tuscan Impressions... ...another picture on the way from Florence to Siena... again a little 2D one for the Tuscany series... a slightly overworked pic from my series... a little chappel somewhere in the middle of nowhere... ~*~ "kirschrot" or cherry-red however... i got that fruit... and thought of the color ...and the meaning behind... it's like this picture... a "secret" behind... or deep inside... ;) and - well i hope you have fun with watching... unusual... but... well :) *** previous shot - Night Sight in Siena next shot - Old Chapel #2 thanks for stopping by and watching :) and of course - critics, thoughts, whatever are welcome - the more useful the better... ;) so don't hesitate to point out things which could be done better... thanks you! -christian pictures taken with a Canon EOS 50e / 28-85mm (/70-300mm) scanned negatives and postwork/framing in Xara X1/PSP9 latest 2D work have a look here...

I find this kinda creepy and scarey, but that's maybe the angle and hue, its so very powerful! Thank you so much for creating and sharing :)

Kirschrot indeed! I love shots like these of crumbling buildings, nature slowly taking over... and the red adds so much, great one Christian hugs

Be Happy!!! ;-)

Excellent framing & presentation Christian! The colour adds great drama & mood to this shot & really brings out the feelings these places can convey so strongly. Very nice work ; )

Strong & foreboding feeling... but is the menace sensed in the past or the future? Very satisfying.

Beautiful cherry surrealism juxtaposed against the sky. As others have said, this is medieval and dramatic. I love this evocative atmospheric piece. Well done!

A mystery that you've captured. What could this chapel tell us if it could speak? Weddings, funerals, secret meetings in the ruins? Fabulous picture.

I love the frame here, creative and stylish as "almost" always ;P! As for the shot, it makes me think of a post-war image for some reason! I find it very depressive! Very intriguing work!

BRavo! (though I must agree there is a bit of "overdone" - frame details was an unnecesary touch. Otherwise this image is fantastic!
